[Open Call] Nabi Open Lab

Nabi Open Lab is a program for creators, developers, programmers, producers, designers, etc. to gather, share knowledge and information, explore and apply technologies, and create various productions. The first series of Nabi Open Lab will be based on artificial intelligence technology that is affecting many parts of our lives. The program aims to see artificial intelligence as a ‘media’ and share ideas on technological trends and socio-cultural issues throughout the society and apply and explore various forms of culture and art through workshops. Art Center Nabi awaits active participation from those who are interested in the program. 

■ Program Overview

•       Target: Anyone (creators, developers, programmers, producers, designers, etc.) who are interested in artificial intelligence

•       Number of Participants: 15

•       Period: July 10^th ~ December 31^st, 2020 (around 5 months)
*including periods of creation and future collaborative projects

•       Location: Art Center Nabi, Tazak Madang (TBD)

*Planning to host Open Lab meetings as a network and community for creating and sharing technological trends

TTS (Tech-Trendy Salon)
: On/Offline meetings for sharing technological trends
A program for sharing trends and exploring issues from various perspectives on different subjects according to participants’ areas of interests

RNN (Remedy & Navigate)

: Proposal of AI production ideas
Program for proposing ideas for culture and art production using AI and technological designs in solo/groups

*Possibility of collaborating with other projects of Art Center Nabi through exhibitions, events, etc.

CNN (Create & Network)

: Production, development, and dissemination of prototypes
Ideas selected through RNN will be promoted for production. The outcomes will be introduced through projects organized by Art Center Nabi.
