GLOBAL ONLINE HACKATHON

◇ Project Details

Art Center Nabi has held Global Online Hackathon about the topic ‘Can DATA enhance humanity?’ at SKT UX HCI LAB (Tazak Madang). More than 50 makers from six different countries, South Korea, USA, Netherlands, Denmark, Taiwan, Finland, participated in for discussing and sharing their creative ideas regarding current data issues. The Online Hackathon has proceeded during 50 hours at the online platform Zoom/Facebook Live.
 
Based on 5 main key words (Mutual Understanding, Emotional Connectedness, Political/Social/Cultural Participation, New Economic Practice, Resilient Cities) participants presented creative ideas regarding the use of data for enhancing humanity. The selected teams from the Online Hackathon will be invited for the Offline Hackathon, which will be held on this coming October in South Korea, to realize their ideas in the prototype. The whole program of the Offline Hackathon is an open studio so that the audience can enjoy the process of development. The result of the hackathon will be exhibited in the exhibition on this coming November.
