Rachael was created with support from Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture, which aims to expand the value of the artistic field and explore artistic expression by combining science and technology with art. The project uses cars, LiDAR, 5G, 99.9Hz radio, mobile phones and the Discord app to describe Seoul.  

Rachael is not only an exhibition, but also an experiential project that combines mobility and communication technologies. The interactive performance will take place on December 2 and 3 at 3pm in the Han River area of Seoul. Through the interactive performance, Yangachi aims to connect contemporary Seoul with technology and create a specific and holistic view of Seoul as a technological world. He also wants to clarify the categorization of bodies and objects that relate or connect to the technological world.   

Rachael presents a performance that focuses on vehicular mobility as an effective form of media and communication. Han River in Seoul is envisioned as a theater where vehicles become the audience and the audience becomes the vehicles. Participants' vehicles move in and out of media space and time, supporting the experience of media environments inside and movie screens and radio waves outside.   

As a meta-human in the project, Rachael is an imagination and access to a near-future Seoul based on the premise of new technologies, societies, and places. Through this project, the artist proposes five keywords - AI, mobility, robotics, energy, and smart city - as a new technological society, and wants to confirm that Seoul is not a sum of technologies and objects, but a sum of technologies and facts.
